#PastaMadeOutOfMungBeans w/ a Hoisin Sauce

A very healthy pasta with the flavors of China!

You read this right– today I made pasta that is made out of mung  beans and thats it! Don’t know how they do it but it has pretty much the same texture as pasta… pretty amazing. You do have to be a bit more careful when cooking it though as it tends to get stuck or get too soft if you over do it!  Take a look at it:

Anyway, here are the ingredients I used for my asian dish:

  • Shrimp
  • mushrooms
  • leeks
  • Sauces: Hoisin, some soy sauce and a bit of red miso paste (just a tad as this is super salty!)
  • Baby Corn

 

I cooked the pasta separately and the rest of the ingredients together, all at the same time. I was finished in 15 mins!
